SERPD has been well known as one of the most influential international conference in swine infectious diseases, which focuses on controlling emerging and re-emerging pig diseases that are currently significant in swine industries worldwide. ISERPD has been highly respected to be a symposium that demonstrates great value of scientific quality of research, on-hands technical solution for the fields, as well as recognizing a recent global picture of animal/human health. Traditionally, ISERPD has been held every 4 years in several cities and countries. The last symposium held in June 2011 in Barcelona, Spain experienced more than 1,000 attendees from 59 countries including Europe, North America, South America, Asia, and so on.
